TRADING BLOG EP. 21 - MISSED TRADES & EMOTIONAL TRADING
When trading, there are going to be times when you miss a great setup and your emotions will get the best of you. Today, I took a position in the S&P500. The trade was a short position, and it ended up as a breakeven trade. It was not a profit or a loss; no gain, no loss.
This was after I missed three amazing and textbook trade setups today that would have been really great trades. This led me to take an emotional trade. Thankfully, it did not end in losing any money—which could’ve been exactly what happened.
I have learned from this experience: even a seasoned ay trader like myself can have a not so pleasant day trading, even though it could’ve been worse.
