TRADING BLOG EP. 50 - FIRST TRADE ON SIERRA
I usually use MetaTrader to take my positions as that is where my FTMO funded account is. But today, I took my first trade using the Sierra Charts platform. My typical trading setup is analyzing on Sierra & executing in the MetaTrader terminal – however I am making the switch to placing the trades through Sierra directly.
I took a quick buy position on the S&P 500. It was definitely a difficult trading day, as we are trading in new territory. SO there were no key levels for me to trade off of like I usually do. I ended up getting long around the VWAP & took the market to the upper extremes where I exited the trade completely.
