TRADING BLOG EP. 52 - FINISHING AT BREAKEVEN
I tried to take a short today on ES & ended up taking a loss. This is acceptable, because the trade was part of my plan & my pre-market prep. However, after taking the loss, I realized I would have to flip the script if I wanted to get on board with the price action today.
As the market started to go imbalanced & trade above the RTH merged VAH, I saw buyers accepting higher prices, so I got long. I slowly scaled out of the position at the Weekly upper extremes, and I even accidentally opened a buy position that I didn’t want to take. So I closed all my positions and finished the day at breakeven.
