TRADING BLOG EP. 54 - SHAKEN OUT OF A WINNING IDEA
I took 2 shorts on the ES, and one was a looser and the other a winner. They were both based on the same trade idea, but the first idea I got shaken out of. The market didn’t hit my stoploss, but I didn’t like what I was seeing, so I closed for a very minor loss (about 2-3 points.)
I was looking to get short off of a Weekly POC. This lined up with a few other key levels on my chart – the Daily VAL, and a custom session VAH. I waited for the proper orderflow confirmation, and there was also cumulative delta divergence, so this was a very textbook trade setup.
