TRADING BLOG EP. 28 - CATCHING A FALLING MARKET
Today I took a short on the S&P 500, after missing the huge drop at the start of the day. I wasn’t able to get in on the action at the beginning of the day where we sold off almost 50 points. However, I decided to be patient and wait for a crystal clear setup to present itself.
If I had just gotten short randomly as the market fell, I would’ve been in profit immediately. However, I don’t like to trade that way. I wanted the market to pull back to a level that I could look for trades off of. I was able to develop a nice trade idea & I captured 10 handles as the market fell to new lows.
